Foster care director

Beverly received her Bachelor of Arts from Lee University and a Master’s in Counseling from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary. She is a minister in the Church of God as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Before coming to SMCH, Beard served as a Case Manager and later as a Mental Health Therapist at Hiwassee Mental Health Center in Cleveland, TN. Beverly currently serves as the Foster Care Director which includes oversight to the Foster Care Program for Smoky Mountain Children's Home. Beverly is married to Dennis Beard and has one son.
