Dr. Wade A. Horton

Clinical director
After graduating from North Georgia College, of Dahlonega, Georgia with a degree in Social Work, Dr. Horton completed a master’s degree in ministry at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary of Louisville, Kentucky, and then went on to earn a PhD in Church History at that same institution. Following graduation Dr. Horton taught as an Adjunct Professor of History at Southern Baptist and as a professor of Ethics at Sullivan Business College. Dr. Horton would later attend Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina where he earned a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. Afterward, he worked as an in-home therapist and supervisor for Peninsula Behavioral Health earning his LPC and MHSP Licensure. Dr. Horton is a children’s minister, a deacon, and a scoutmaster. He is married to Deborah Horton, MD, and they have four children.
