co-Executive director

Tammie Mauldin serves as the Co-Executive Director for the Smoky Mountain Children’s Home, SMCH. Prior to coming to SMCH, she served as the Executive Assistant to the Second Assistant General Overseer of the Church of God. From 2001 to 2012, she served as Executive Assistant to the Chancellor of the Division of Education and later would become the Administrative Coordinator for the entire Division of Education. From 1989 to 1998, her tenure was at Lee University in three different roles: Vice President of Advancement Office Bookkeeper, Church Relations Office Secretary and as Executive Assistant to the President, Dr. Paul Conn. She started her ministry at North Cleveland Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee, serving as a secretary in three different ministries from 1983 to 1989. Tammie is a gifted speaker and often shares in ministry during Chapel services to include Wednesday Night Chosen Generation Youth Services, SpiritCare Ministry Center and Women’s Ministries events. Tammie is married to Dr. Walt Mauldin, and they share four children and fourteen grandchildren.
